Nice jack for cables not thicker than 6mm
I prefer this jack for thinner cables to Neutrik NP2X, my reasoning is that it provides a more worry-free soldering. Neutrik is not pre-tinned and is best assembled with some really strong flux, otherwise the ground will disconnect just over time. on Amphenol the ground is fitted to a hole, so the contact is more secure. contrary to other reviewers, I'm able to put the ground through the hole, once you cut the excess, the jack will assemble nicely.
I use this jack with Mogami W2524 cable, it's exactly 6mm and fits nicely.
the downside is that jack's tip wiggles a tiny bit. and it doesn't fit cables more than 6mm in diameter, for this you need TM2PJ, which is sadly not at stock at Thomann.
update in 3 years: I've ended up breaking plastic bottoms of those more often than I'd like, so ended up getting ones with a metal baskshell (also sadly not at stock on Thomann): TM2PN. and pretty consent how they hold over the years.

Great plug
I order this Amphenol TM2P in same order as many other (20 different models) plugs. I need for patchwork many of this so i decide to order many different manufactures (Neutrik, Adam Hall, Hicon, Amphenol, Rean..) and they different models to see and later decide which one will by in larger quantity. I must say that if you need good plug with angle look no further. Really this is maybe best plug for guitar and bass that i use for a cheap price...50% off Neutrik. I am decide to go with straight TR jack because its easier to connect in patchbay but if i need more plugs for guitar and bass i will by this one for sure..

Amphenol Jacks
Amphenol make some of the finest jacks available. They are solidly made from top materials and the nickel is a lovely satin. Good cable strain relief. Great plugs

same as Neutrik
The quality of assembly and materials is not inferior to Neutrik. But I do not understand why people continue to compare them, because Amphenol is also a flagship in the production of connectors.
P.S. Seetronic is also sold, but it is a little simpler. Although the price is the same as Ampfenol. All three brands are worth your attention.
