I use it to connect my audio interface to my macbook pro
I can confirm this is a true Apple product. No hassles whatsoever, works perfectly. I have other USB-C to USB adaptors as well, but their form factor takes up too much space. The design of this one is well thought out.

very smooth insertion, as the tolerances are properly respected. other cheap alternatives sometimes they won’t get in, they stuck if you don’t insert them completely flat.

Must have for Mac users! Also a bit cheaper as opposed to buying on the apple website (which is of course a bonus).
