2C feels like a smaller 1C (similar alpha angle), and it is perfect for somebody with thick lips like me. I used to play 1C when my work was mostly orchestral but nowadays I play many other styles and the smaller diameter of 2C gives me more flexibility. The 26/24 setup of this version of the mouthpiece gives it a similar blow to 1C and was therefore helpful in transitioning to this smaller size. Highly recommended if you would like to downsize from a 1C!
