An amazing preamp
I love this pre!
Using it with Bartolini M4's in a custom 5 string bass (bubinga top, cherry body, roasted birdseye maple neck and purpleheart fretboard, 60s Jazz pickup placement).
The tone is incredible, never heard the sub region so clearly, almost like an earthquake beneath your feet, I love it.
The mids are something else, beautiful, deep and rounded.
Sits in the mix effortlessly without any issues.
The sound is something in between a Ken Smith and the best modern Jazz bass you can think of, huge and authoritative. Probably the best bass I own.
