Does the job. Coating feels nice. Only real complaint is not the about the ears themselves, but the power cord bundled with the Behringer synths you will be using these with. I racked my Neutron below a Tiptop Audio Happy Ending, which gives me ample access to the power and in/out jacks on the back. If you rack it below a deeper item you might have more problems with jack access: you'll almost certainly want a right-angle barrel connector for power, and right-angle audio and MIDI thru jacks.

The power switch can be left on, so that's not a problem. What's awkward is the MIDI channel DIP switches. Now, if I want to change those, I need to crawl around the back. Oh well.

The right ear has the Behringer warning triangle on, which is a nice touch, in case somebody doesn't recognise the garish red Neutron colour scheme (which I like, actually).
