A lot of fun
I love producing some big bass tones on this currently.
I would have loved a well made cheat sheet to come with the device. Something that explains for each program what the knobs do. A laminated card in the box would have made this perfect.

The sound lab I've been looking for
I'm familiar with the Plaits for several years now and I almost purchased one of its many software implementations for about 13 times less.
But because I value immediacy and hands-on control that does not require extensive MIDI mapping, I finally decided to take the plunge and give the Grind a chance.
Not only did it not disappoint, but it is largely exceeding my best expectations.
Unlike most folks who rail against the awkward Crave-style sequencer, I actually like the thing. I find it very intuitive, for the most part.
Still, my use case is a lot more focused on using the instrument to feed an array of FX chains during live improvisation.
The vast plethora of algorithms and the macro knobs that we can use to tweak them allows me to deliver endless audio entertainment that can be kept dynamic and interesting.
I also love the modulation shenanigans that the patch bay affords.
This is the type of gear that belongs in the studio of every experimental musician.
