Behringer UB-Xa

Perfect packaging, protects the synth really at its best. Very good construction, rock solid. Knobs and controls make a very good feel. Good keyboard, a bit soft but suitable for a synth, aftertouch not too hard to press.
It doesn't always sound like the original, I won't go into a long and sterile speech, just remember that it costs a fifth of an OB-X8. For just over 1000€ it still has double polyphony and poly aftertouch.
What more could I have wished for, even at a small extra cost? An EFX unit and a CV/Gate output.

I preordered this when the preview video came out from Behringer saying the wait was over. This synth is simply amazing. It has so many sonic possibilities while also being true to the original OB-XA. If you are looking for a polyphonic analogue synthesizer with a rich tone, and a nice keybed with polyphonic aftertouch, get this synth.

I really looked forward to getting this synth. 16 analogue voices at this price point is fantastic. I own a Polybrute, OB 6 and a Prophet Rev 2.
The high end of this synth makes nasty crackling noises through my Adam speakers where none of the others do. A fault with this unit? I dont know, I only see good reviews from respected reviewers online. The screen is a useless joke. I would have preferred to pay more. The price has come down since my purchase. I would be interested to know if anyone else hears anything nasty in the high end

Great price for a 16 voice analog polysynth. Not too keen on the interface but it sounds good to me. A few bugs but nothing too serious. Im sure they will be sorted out.
