Celestion G10 Greenback 16 Ohm

I installed this as a replacement for Marshall DSL5C stock 10" speaker.

I read many different reviews during my research. Some said that it barely made any difference.

In my opinion it transforms the amp completely. The highs are no longer harsh and the lows sound way more natural.

The installation process is really simple, there is no need for soldering and after 10 minutes I had an ultimate practice amp.

I love this speaker !
tight bass , shiny but not ear bleeding high frequencies... and sweet middle frequencies.
the overall impresion ? smooth ,sweet ,shiny , tight , clarity !
this speaker it has completely changed the tone in my Marshall 5w.
I do not think it is suitable for metal music.
more for lovers of rock , blues and jazz tones .

Me parece que suena especialmente bien en los medios, pero admito que lo coloqué en un recinto de insuficiente tamaño, que antes era de un pequeño combo de 1x8, y seguro que eso hace que no resalten las demás frecuencias, sobre todo los graves, es importante usar un recinto de tamaño adecuado y de calidad también, como el 1x10 de Engl por ejemplo, que uso con un Celestion de 40 w. y algo más barato que el greenback, y suena tremendo, casi casi como un vintage 30 en un 1x12.

a step up from my old celestion ten 30, but is it a 90 pound step up? I don't think so. Your opinion may differ.

Made this addition to my Origin 20c & I’m in love with the tone. Classic 70s low-end growl; perfect with a Marshall +LP combo. 10” sounds just as good as the original 12”. Very satisfied!

then look no further. Love my rocker 15 combo but wanted a speaker that would provide rich, pronounced distortion without the high end fizz that the Orange's stock speaker can produce when pushing the dirty channel at low volumes. This worked beautifully.

Very good, full sounding in your face speaker.

I did my job very well, it took me right to the decades I was looking for my sound, later I ended up with 12' but this one is pretty close to 12'
