I've been using NYXL for the last several years now, and they have been absolutely great. Love the sound (very subjective, of course). But I've never had one of them break on me yet! I give them a quick clean after each time playing and this keeps them sounding bright and punchy for a really long time. Can only recommend giving them a try and see if they suit your taste :)
