USE CASE
at home dj booth (not a production environment)

CLARITY
very well balanced. they are not "bassy" as other brands/models. they are very good for long listening, doesn't make you ears tired or saturated due to long listening sessions. low frequencies are well defined, they are there but not that up in your face. optionally you can adjust lows and that is good feature. having them combined with my rotary mixer gives a very very good result.

PROS
- good weight, they fit very well and stable at any space or at the wall
- enough power to satisfy mid to mid-large room
- they are actually smaller than i thought (smaller then jbl308mk2)

CONS
nothing crazy... i had JBL 308 mk2 so my ears got used to their low-end in-your-face :) just have to get used to them now (altho i will miss that party kick ;) - will buy the sub eventually while my neighbour still tolerates me ;)

Good investment overall !!

Helpful for near-wall placement

A very clear sound, hearing more details indeed than Genelec 8040. Only the lower end is weaker than 8040. But I think that is no problem. For a precise lower end is also significant. Addition, the wall mode is very useful. By the mode the speaker can even placed only 10 cm to the front wall, without some evident acoustic problems.
