Slinky feeling strings, definitely not your typical flatwound sound. Probably best for a roundwound sound with less string noise when playing. Personally didn't like them very much but that's due to my guitar generally not matching up well with anything but pure nickels to deal with stratitis magnetic pull. That's not to say these are excellent strings that give best of both worlds, bright sound with smooth flatwound and an unwound G string for those boomer bends.
