Looks awesome and feels great to play
After having an acoustic guitar since I was 17, and being an enthusiastic strummer at best, I recently decided to progress my playing properly, and in my mid forties, took a few guitar lessons with aspiration to play some Metallica songs. After enjoying getting back in to it, I then started looking for a guitar that would help me on my journey and always wanted an electric. After researching a good guitar fora good shred, but also adaptable and good for other genres, I kept coming back. to this guitar. I'm glad I took the plunge.
I've had it a couple of weeks and I love it. reviews say it has a fast neck, and I can see what they mean, compared to my old acoustic anyway. Fretboard feels and looks nice and in general the guitar is comfortable to play just on my lap or with a strap. The switch for single or double pick up is cool, controls are robust and good quality. As a long time beginner, finally stepping towards intermediate playing, I think this guitar fits my needs at a reasonable price point for the quality and features. Paired with a Blackstar ID Core amp, and i have a nice and adaptable set up which will keep me entertained for years to come no doubt. Glad this one kept calling me back :)
