Sound is fine, some finish could be much improved
Don't expect a well playing guitar out of the box. Mass produced and quality just can't keep up. So expect less or more set up and fret work to get the most out of it.
Frets are fairly level but not rounded and edges are rough to varying degree. Also had the CD-60 version with same exact problems, so it is likely a common problem. Does not take much work, but at this price such a basic should be expected.
Tuner is OK, but cannot expect precision from the way it is designed, just getting in the ball park. Not sure what the claimed accuracy is, but it's just OK. Look at what Fender put on Paramount line to see what I mean.
Once guitar is set up though and frets finished up, sound is very good and it was all worth it. Neck feels good too.

Great, but not professional
As always with Fender it is hit and miss. Mine is pretty good, I like the sound and feel to play. It is a little too tight in terms of string spacing for some people, but I got used to it even though I have big hands.
You'll need to set it up. Any fender setup is ridiculous, so no way to around that.
