This is a great little stand tray, I was initially just using it for little accessories and nik-naks, but it has enough room to hold a basic Amazon laptop stand - the adjustable sort you can use to angle the laptop keyboard to a comfortable angle. This combination allows you to create angle "shelves" on pretty much any type of stand - I currently have one with an Alesis SR-18 drum machine on it, and I'm about to hake another for a zoom R20 to sit on. I've used it on a Gravity laptop stand and an orchestra music stand. It will fit on all but the thickest of stand girths (oh, I say!) as long as the stand is stable enough.
