Gibson-Schreck, doch am Ende alles gut

Hallo,
leider hatte 2014 ich meine Gibson Tribute 2019 verkauft. Nachdem ich das nun ausreichend bereut habe, habe ich hier bei Thomann die Gibson Studio gefunden. In Tobacco Burst, genau die gesuchte Farbe.
Also, sofort bestellt und 2 Tage später (Donnerstag) war sie da.
Nix wie raus aus dem Karton: und da war der Gibson-Schreck:
Diese Gibson war Voll-Schrott ab Werk: obwohl der Karton noch original versiegelt war.
Die kleinen Lackfehler auf der Decke waren noch nicht das Problem. Aber das untere Binding am Hals war im Prinzip auf kompletter Länge beschädigt.
Das wirkte als wenn jemand mit einer Eisenraspel mutwillig über das Binding geschrubbt hat. Das Binding war 3 mm weggeraspelt. Selten war mir so schlecht, es war ein Jammer um so eine Gitarre. Leider kann ich hier kein Foto abbilden, denn diesen Zustand kann man in Prinzip nicht glauben.
Aber: Thomann kontaktiert, nach 2 Stunden habe ich DHL-Einlieferungsschein der Rücksendung gemailt und am gleichen Tag (immer noch Donnerstag) wurde die Ersatzlieferung bereits ferigegeben.
Samstag war die Gibson Nr. 2 dann da (Respekt).

Jetzt ist nicht nur alles gut, jetzt ist alles in Butter. Ein Träumchen diese Gibson. Perfektes Finisch, perfekter Klang.

Finally I've found a Gibson LP fitting into my current budget, so the decision came without much hesitation.
The shipment was as expedient as it normally is fgrom Thomann. The guitar reached me in an absolutely perfect condition, and even after a vary careful inspection I couldn't find a slightest blemish. The instrument had been correctly set up; all I had to do was adjust the intonation for some strings, but the neck relief and string action were right on the spot.
I heard lots of good opinions on the BurstBucker Pro pickups, and, indeed, the guitar sounds great in whatever amp configuration I've tried it (I'm an amp/cab modeller guy, so I have plenty of options).
A sweet Les Paul, actually very moderately stripped down Standard, offering a lot for the price. Highly recommended.
