CRL 5-Way Switch

Many times I have tried different switching pickups. It has always worked, but sooner or later problems arose. Mostly different noise or popping when switching pickups. And I have tried those switches really a lot from various productions, even the more expensive ones. Here at Thomann, I also found the Göldo US003 CRL 3-Way Switch and the Göldo US005 CRL 5-Way Switch and I probably found the right one, it works as I imagined. I am very pleased with this choice. If someone needs to replace the switch, they will not make a mistake when selecting Göldo.

Used to replace an already high quality Oak Grigsby type switch, this is even better feeling.

I replaced my original fender switch 2 years ago because the contacts were not working consistently, generating noise and sometimes not closing at all the circuit. After cleaning continuously with a proper spray product I decided to change it. Since I changed: not a problem. Perfect! Reliable and mechanically interchangeable with the original Stratocaster .

It’s a switch. Nothing more.
Just this switch is quiet. No popping, no cracking in the sound.
Reason good enough to pay a bit more and buy quality.

Used several Goldo switches as replacements for old worn-out ones.
Generally I used many type of spare parts from Goldo because they tend to have a consistent quality level on the market

The switch snaps into position with a solid and firm click, with no play. 5-way switches are always fiddly. At least this one feels firm, unlike the stock switch in my Classic Series Strat, which jiggles.

I got myself this 5-way switch to complete a custom built pickguard with 3 pickups (HSH).
This product is very well built. Looks robust and operates flawlessly. It's been now several months since I installed it on my guitar and is has yet to fail a single time - and I use it a lot!

Easy to solder, easy to install, easy to operate. I would buy it again without hesitation.

I've tried a lot of cheaper replacement switches but they all inevitably fail pretty quickly under regular use. This, on the other hand, is a high quality switch with a very positive feel to it and heavy contacts making soldering a breeze.

Classic 5-way switch for stratocaster wiring. Highest quality and beautiful look. Works smoothly and without any noise. Highly recommended.
