Whilst I was buying my Hercules 5 guitar rack, i read a very helpful review that recommended to buy a couple of these extension kits to turn the rack from a 5 to a 7 guitar rack and so I did exactly that. It was great advice as i had the guitars but not the space and didn’t see any bigger racks available.. plus it was a really cheap way to get the most out of the product.

Pros.. not expensive, easy to fit and well built.
Cons.. none.

We Use A Hercules guitar rack and it is perfect for home or stage storage as it is flexible and racks guitars brilliants including offsets and and Explorers.
I bought this to expand its capability's as we have increased our collection of guitars and its fits perfects on the rack and is great and doesn't damage guitar with elongated stays on the rack.

Got one of these to fit all four guitars in the home into my Hercules stand, and, as expected, it works fine. It’s a tad different from the ones that come with the stand itself, as you clamp it on and use a screw to tighten it, but it doesn’t break the original aesthetic of the stand in any meaningful way. The foam rings for the base of the instrument are a snug fit and easy to install as well.

All in all, a fine addition to the stand, and a recommended purchase, though it most probably will only fit on the same brand.

Great extension for the Hercules multiple stand!

I've bought two units, this effectively expanded my multiple guitar stand to hold 7 guitars with plenty of space for quick as well as safe removing and replacing guitars. I've had a few multiple stands (Fender, Proel), but Hercules is, as always, just a few steps above the rest. A big big plus is a really fast installation with the bolt & nut on the hook and an innovative metallic loop on the foam loop part. Super easy, super fast.

I decided to purchase just one more guitar definitely the last one :) so I was glad Hercules Stands HCHA-205 was available. It fit's perfect, solid and works like it should. good item would recommend.

Bought an extra 5 of these to go with the Hercules rack, advertised as accommodating upto 10 guitars. As it turns out, only needed 3, as the rack realistically only comfortably accommodates 8 guitars. Any way, I'll have a couple of spares. These are easy to fit, disassembling the rack not necessary.

Works perfectly; designed to be added onto the stand without taking it back apart- which is a nice touch which I had not expected.
The guitar stand itself (the 5 instrument version) fits 7 comfortably, and this extension is well worth it if you need the storage.

Honestly such a helpful product, if like me you have more than three instruments but not the space for the five way stand, these are your best bet. Shame the stand doesn’t include any extra as standard, but at least these are fairly inexpensive. Easy to install and they do the job perfectly.
