After trying several other string sets on my Beatle bass, I always come back to these.
They are very nice on the fingers and sound great.
It also has the most balanced tension for me personally at this scale length.
They are not cheap but they last a considerable time, and I think it pays off in the end.
I like them and highly recommend them!

I love the sound and feel. Best flatwound strings I´ve tried. A musthave for a Hofner owner, but they can also be used on Fender P and J basses.
The note definition is fantastic, smooth and the touch & fell is awesome. They last an eternity and I haven´t found the sound does not particularly degrade.
I recommend them to everyone, even if they are not your style, you should try them.

These strings are okay but the Bella Deep Talkin' flat wounds made for the Hofner are way better. The Hofner strings needed to be cleaned several times as they left black stains all over my hands when played.
