Absolutly the thing!!!

At first impression, the guitar is simply excellent. The strings are a bit rusty, but that’s not a problem, I will be changing them anyway. The body is a classic superstrat, the neck is comfortable, the frets don’t scratch, and overall the build quality is good. The bridge holds tuning well, the fine-tuning screws work a bit stiffly, I think I’ll lubricate them with a drop of oil and it will be fine. The sound surprised me: the bridge pickup has very good power, the neck pickup is a little muddy, but the coolest thing is the 4th and 2nd positions, which give an almost crystal-clear sound like a Fender. Overall, for this price the guitar is the best you can find, with such a body finish and characteristics.

Quality issues

The instrument is good overall but has quality issues out of the box:
- One of the frets (#14) was not glued in properly so it came off at the edges around 1mm up. Impossible to play above fret #13. I will have to take to to a master to re-glue or replace
- Neck pickup is installed unevenly with higher strings side being about 5mm lower. Need to take strings off and take it out to see how to make it even.

Nothing that can't be fixed, but it's a bummer to have stupid issues like that on a $500+ guitar
