LAB Gruppen PD3000

The famous climber Ben Moon once said: Technique is no substitute for power. He is also credited with saying: The ONLY substitute for power is MORE power!!! Well, this is one POWERFUL amp... 2x800 watts @ 8 Ohms and 2x1500 watts @ 4 Ohms are more than enough to bring down ANY house, especially if you get it for the purpose I did... I drive it with the Sans Amp 2112 GED bass pre amp and it, in turn, drives two Peavey Headliner 410 400 watts 8 Ohms cabinets. Again: POWER!!! Clarity, ease of use, fidelity, light weight, quality construction, they are all there! Still, what amazes me is POWER!!! I guess it will be equally great sounding in FOH applications but should you chose it for purposes similar to mine I can guarantee you, you will be AMAZED, unless you are deaf, which could easily happen should you be careless when handling such a POWERFUL beast... Top notch detail: the locking IEC 13 power plug! Way to go LAB Gruppen!!! Invest, NOW!!!
