Those new 2022 Greenbacks are harsh in the highs and scooped in the mids

The cab fit and finish is not at the required level.
The sound of the 2022 G12M-25 Greenbacks is not the same compared to the ones I have from 2020. They look exactly the same, both UK made but my old ones have very musical and vintage mid range and highs while the new ones that came with the 1960BX from 2022 are nothing like them - scooped in the mids and harsh in highs.

Optik sowie Sound sind perfekt, die Greenbacks benötigen etwas Einspielzeit (ca 30-50 Stunden) damit sie in den Höhen noch runder werden. Die gerade Version hat einfach mehr Druck und Fülle... Ich bin rundherum zufrieden!

Du Green back dans un bac Marshall pan droit,de bonne facture,comme d'habitude chez Marshall pas de surprise.
Le son des HP à un côté plus vintage et plus rond que des v 30.
Exellent choix pour du blues,Pop,etc

Ich habe lange nach einer passenden Box zu meinem alten Marshall JMP 50 aus den Siebzigern gesucht. Wie immens wichtig die Box/der Lautsprecher in der klangerzeugenden Kette ist, wird leider von vielen Gitarristen immer wieder außer acht gelassen. "Welche Box ich spiele? Keine Ahnung, hab ich günstig geschossen. Sind irgendwelche Speaker drin. 4 Stück, glaube ich."

Nach langem Suchen und Testen habe ich mit der MR 1960 AX das ideale Cabinet zu meinem Sound gefunden. Kein hartes Metallbrett mit Ultratiefbässen passend zu runtergestimmten Gitarren bis in den Keller, aber ein Garant für "den klassischen Marshall Sound" der Siebziger. Geile Höhen, ohne zu harsch zu sein und im unteren Mitten/bassbereich einfach immer tight. Die Box klingt schon relativ leise gespielt richtig gut und trotz ihrer 100 Watt kann sie aber auch einen ordentlichen Tritt in den A.... gut vertragen.

Und sind wir alle mal ehrlich. Sieht die Box nicht einfach nur gut aus?????
