Very silent - nice quality
I bought this because I need my practice to be more silent. I have been using the Benny Greb Meinl pad for a couple of years and really liked it. This one is more silent but also has less rebound, which probably will strengthen rebound control. The surface is a soft foam. Very satisfied with it.
