MXR Sub Machine Octave Fuzz

It's a great pedal, simpler than it looks. The high octave cuts well and the sub-octave packs quite a punch. I love the fuzz, it sounds dangerous and lets you enter ring modulation territory, but it's not as uncontrollable as other fuzz siblings.
In series mode it transforms into another pedal, it's more mellow at least to my ears.
It can work well as booster, but the only downside to this fuzz, for me, it's that it is almost impossible to clean up with the volume knob. It stays fuzzy all the way down to almost zero volume.
The finish is exceptional, but I'm partial to purple glitter.
