Decent E-reader, but if you're nitpicky, get smth else
The good:
- Carta 1300 screen is amazing
- Battery life if very good
- Clutter-free OS
The bad:
- Device is very slow in the menus. It can take up to 10 seconds to open a new book. Every action delay is ~2-5 seconds.
- Coil whine is noticeable in quiet environment (only when page turning)
- Buttons are inconsistent (depending on where you press can be loud or quiet)
- Ergonomics is not the best, despite it's non-symmetrical design
- Body is squeaking when handling it - quality problem
- Some comfort features are missing in the device settings (maybe will be patched with updates)
Overall: the only reason I bought it, is because it's the only non-android Carta 1300 7" device with page turning buttons. If there was a Kobo alternative - would go for it
