PRS 59/09 Bass Pickup

PRS 59/09 is a wonderful pickup.
With clean sound it is warm, clear and very detaild. It has a thicker tone than a singelcoil but its still not as "empty" as humbuckers tend to be. The tone reminds a bit of a P90 pickup with alot of sustain.
With distortion it sound just like a real humbucker should sound! The tone is thick but still has alot of mids and alot of sustian! with no hum.
Still there are no words good enough to describe the quality and details in the sound of this pickup. Its wonderful!

A little dark - maybe it's my wiring/pots/treble bleed but these are not high output pickups and sound incredible. If they weren't so expensive, I would probably put them on more of my guitars. Not muddy. Bell-like clarity as a matter of fact, and sound just wonderfully as a good classic rock set of pickups.
