L'instrument est assez léger, il est possible d'attacher des crochets pour le suspendre et jouer. Peau synthétique, diamètre 12 pouce assez petit ce qui s'apparente plutôt à un son de derbouka lorsque très tendue, détendue on se rapproche du djembe, assez aigûe.
Personnellement, j'ai échangé pour un 14 pouces pour plus de grave mais ce sont mes gouts personnels.

Ostin tällaiset vaihtokalvot remo mondo snareen ja djembeen. Vanhat kestivät kauan mutta pinnoite alkoi pikkuhiljaa vuosien saatossa irtoilemaan reunoilta. Mutta vuosia aktiivista keikkailua siis kestivät ennen kuin vaihto tuli ajankohtaiseksi.
soundi on autenttisiin nahkoihin verrattuna kirkkaampi mutta toisaalta keskelle lyötäessä matalan dum-Soundin sustain on muikea. uutuutena kalvojen alapuolelle oli kiinnitetty pieni demppari joka ehkäisee ringiä. Tosin minulle se ei ole koskaan ollut ongelma, käsin soitettaessa ringiä voi helposti kontrolloida käsillä.
Musta väri toimii. Rock! ...tai siis Folk!

Synthetic skin is amazing!
Synthetic skin is amazing but your sound is very much difference than a skin djembe.
It has a strong ring, which cannot really be reduce without greatly reducing the volume of the drum (using the Control Ring/Dot Mylar stickers).
It takes more skill to be able to have crisp tone versus a loud and very harmonic slap compared to a goat skin.
The bass is better than a natural skin of the same size, it's clear, deeper, sounds like a sub-woofer.
The drum head is extremely sensitive, you can easily drum with 1 finger, any light touch or brushing is heard.
You can very clearly hear the texture of your hands and fingers in the final sound.
You just make different type of music using this drum head...
