Ich benutze das Diplomat als Resonanzfell in Kombination mit einem Emperor (ebenfalls Coated). Es lässt sich leicht ein warmer, halboffener Ton erreichen, dem es aber nicht an Attack fehlt - ich bleibe bei dieser Fellkombination.
Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut - ich konnte keine fehler festellen und das Stimmen ging auch gut von der Hand.

Trés bon son selon l'utilisation
J’utilise ce peux 13 Diplomat coated sur une 1963 Ludwig piccolo (bois et nickel sur laiton) seulement en studio et il est formidable. Il peux être utilisé en live bien sur mais la gamme Diplomat est plutôt pas fait pour etre frappé très fort donc attention.

Ich habe mir die Diplomat Serie als Reso´s für die Toms geholt und bin vollkommen zufrieden. Gute Qualität, guter Klang und schöne Optik.
