Roth & Junius Bass Endpin Carbon Fiber 4/4

There are 3 similar items in the catalogue, it would be nice to have the their different specifications displayed in a table, to help order the right one.
A very clear feature when you try one is that it's noticeably lighter but just as sturdy compared to your standard hardwood and brass and iron endpin, however the weight of spare parts is often not given, and it is the case here.
The main drawback is the low quality of the rubber tip that smears floors and needs almost immediately to be replaced, but its reference and availability unlinked. Be aware notably the Wolf-type endpin-ball with a 10mm socket won't fit the 11mm metal tip without some retooling: R&J would be wise to offer various carbon fiber rods with different tips or screws etc.
