Great blimp solution

This is a very good blimp/windjammer for your shotgun mic, and at great price compared to the usual Rycote prices.

However, when the blimp is on you have to be careful the cable does not touch the bottom basket, since it can make noise -- at least I have to make sure with my 416.
Also, the deadcat is of quality BUT is not as tight as other Rycote blimps -- there's no little rope to adjust how tight you want the deadcat to be, and I had a bit of wind issues the other day. I don't understand why they've changed that compared to the other blimps.

Overall is a very good product; small size, easy to pack; the basket (blimp) is is easy to open and very quick; the lyre suspension is excellent and the deadcat is soft and quality. But there are so little downs that I wish they were sorted.

Excellent handling and wind suppression

Pros : Very clean audio, even with the fur on it. I used it in about 40 km/h wind speed with strong gusts and it was better than perfect.
Cons : Handling noise. The lyre suspensions are not the usual of Rycote quality. These are a little cheaper.
