I owned so many cymbals in my life, and the best18 crash for me is this one, no Zildjian K custom or Paiste2002.
I had Sabian AAX and HH remastered.
This is the only character, wash, brightness, fullnes, projection, length, get-out of the way... This is it!
For cutting trough add a HHX 16 inch:) These are your new best friends.

Dark sound and very responsive

This crash is the perfect companion for a 16" fast crash.
Very responsive if you hit gently.
Fat dark sound when you hit hardly.
But this crash is thin compared to others 18" crash.
So hit hard but being kind.

I've always wanted this cymbal. Perhaps it was the finish and quality but was always just out of my price range. When I finally managed to purchase it I must say I did not regret it for a second. The sound of this cymbal is like no other. It has very crisp highs that seem to cut through a mix yet it can be subtle and delicate. Suits a variety of play styles and is a general all rounder.

Cymbal with excellent sound!

Generally I like to use Sabian HHX cymbals because I believe that they are one of the best.
With the crash 16" wich I have since before, I bought this 18" crash to get another extra fuller sound. It is very good quality and useful in any type of music. It's a little thicker than the HHX Evolution 16", and will probably last longer.
