My headphones are well over a decade old and still perfect in every other respect, so super happy to be able to just replace the ear pads like this. No reason to believe they won't last another decade before any more maintenance is required.

Fitting took some time. Remember that you can completely take the headphones apart (unplug cables, unscrew/pull away from headband) to make things much easier.

After about 10 years of field recording, the pads of my HD-25 were quite worn and almost completely fell of.

It's a bit fiddly to replace them. Not to difficult, just a bit of fiddling and poking about, but once they're on the headphones, they feel like new, very secure on the cans, and the headphone are ready for another 10 years. (hopefully!)

My old trusty Sennheiser HD-25 needed an earpad replacement since as the old ones have become chapped and flat. The replacement pads are not very cheap but given the quality I think they are reasonably priced.
They are not easy to put on but once they're on your headphone feels just like new.
I am sure these pads will last at least for the next 5 years with everyday use!
