The tonal difference to my original Burstbuckers is more subtle than expected, but it scrubs off the softness and (to my ear) ads a slightly sharper, more defined tone. The difference between the neck and bridge is very clear, the Jazz being quieter and softer, which plays into exactly what I was looking for.
I like the anniversary set, there's no coil splitting, keeping the guitar simple... They also don't have any big branding or logos printed on them.
I love how the zebra look changes this guitar, the previous had shiny steel covers. It's looking less country and western and more 90s alternative...

The originals
If you are used to the modern version off the SH-2 and the SH-4,these pickups sound so good you can not compare them with the modern ones.
They will only be availible for 2026 only so hurry if you are in search for new pick ups with a great sound.I think they will run out of stock quickly.
