Really THE cable

This IS a cable, really. Even though it is not too thick, was pretty hard to cut through the external casing, and the hot and cold plastics were pretty sturdy too... All these features show that this cable is made for the purpose of its name: stage and live environments.
The soldering is pretty easy and straightforward (I used some Neutrik connectors) and everything looks really heavy duty made.
So yes: really recommended!

The Sommer Cable SC Stage 22 Highflex Ye is a solid but simultaneously very flexible microphone cable. Because of its flexibility (un)wrapping is very comfortable without getting any knots. The cable is available in different colors to mark different lengths or purposes. Soldering works fine. It can be used not only in (home) studio situations, but also on stage (bands on tour etc.). Really my favorite cable!

highflex indeed. Cable feels very flexible yet strong, thick rubber insulation makes it stage-proof. I use mine for installations (racks). The yellow is easily identifiable and easier to find in the dark or when pulling through holes etc. Never had a broken cable from Sommer.

Sturdy, pliable - able to go around tight corners, good shielding (although we practice underground so no way of knowing how they work above ground;) easy to work with, good sound for practice place with fairly cheap powered speakers, it is a good price/performance cable. Wanted a red colour but yellow is cool as well, to keep the cables visible among other cables.
