Looks good but missing raised centre tone is an issue.
For years I’ve been looking to buy a hand pan hangdrum but they have always been out of my budget. This one looked good and was within my beginners budget. I started with a lower number of tones as I figured that as a beginner there would be less to go wrong. The sound and tones are lovely but I was left disappointed that the centre strike point which on very other hangdrum I’d seen was raised to make it easier to strike, on this model is concave. This means its difficult to strike as your thumb misses the raised area. The look and sound are great otherwise.
