I was searching for a tube rectifier for an old champ 71, thomann has only TAD but I have trusted thomann that they have kept the one that is best selling so I have ordered it . this tube did not alter the sound that was coming from the old RCA USA that was in that I had taken off to be preserved. I did some swapping back and forth but without any drastic change in tone. so yes although it is the only choice at thomann I believe it did the job wel especially when it part of a bigger order you want everything to come from one source.

Difficile à trouver, mais pas chez Thomann! Mon petit Champ de 1978 tournait depuis plus de 15 ans avec une lampe de rectification compatible (achetée chez un réparateur de radio!).
Pour ses 40 ans je lui ai offert ce Rectifier Tube : aucun impact notable sur le grain de l'ampli, en revanche il ronfle moins ! Je vais peut-être racheter un rectifieur pour mon usage personnel ;-)

Contento con la compra, ahora mi amplificador funciona perfectamente. Solamente descontento con el envío, llegó junto al resto de artículos que pedí en una caja grande que lo contenía todo, y esta válvula, junto con otra que pedí llegaron fuera de su cajita y dando vueltas por la caja grande que contenía todo el pedido. Pudo haberse roto en el transporte.

Die alte Gleichrichterröhre in meinem Tweed Princeton Clone hat den Geist aufgegeben, also musste eine neue her. Ohne groß zu gucken diese hier bei Thomann bestellt. Er beim Tausch fiel mir auf, dass vorher eine 5Y3WGTB von TAD drin war. Die ist zwar teuerer, hat aber auch - vintage korrekt - weniger Leistung.
Mit der neuen TAD RT503 5Y3GT funktionierte der Amp nicht nur, er klang auch so gut wie nie zuvor, einfach etwas frischer, spirtziger und kraftvoller.
Wenn ich mal wieder eine neue benötige, nehme ich auf jedefall wieder diese Röhre!
