This stand i just everything it needs to be. A bit on the pricy side, but then again, you will be rewarded with a heavy duty stand.

Nikel problems

The quality of the nikel is very bad. Got 5 of these stands in my living area which is protected and insulated from unwelcome temperatures. I own them brand new less than a year, but the nikel got destroyed and mugged and i was cleaning them once in a week. Very bad quiality of nikel, and i told that to thomann support and they said i need to be charged if i want a repair.

Great stand!

Useful, solid, beautiful design. The swiveling boom arm is genius. Obviously very thought out design but not over designed. Worth every penny. It´s around 6 kg. On the heavy side. Wish they would make a single braced version.

Habe mir vor einigen Wochen ein Tama Star Walnut Set zugelegt und fortan mit meiner alten Hardware gespielt. Es funktionierte aber die alte, abgespielte Hardware meines Tama Rockstar-Set sah einfach nicht mehr schön aus. So überlegte ich mir, welche Ständer ich mir zulegen sollte und hatte entweder DW oder die original Tama Star Hardware im Sinn. Schließlich entschied ich mich für Tama. Bisweilen bin ich super zufrieden. Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind wirklich super vielfältig und vor allem stufenlos regulierbar. Ich nutze den Ständer als Ridebeckenständer für ein 22" Ridebecken und es sitzt alles sehr fest. Ein wirklich sehr solides Produkt... und nicht vergessen: "Wer billig kauft, kauft immer zwei mal."
