Was very hyped when I got this recorder and after some months of use I am happy with the purchase.
The interface seems easy to navigate, the "apps" are fairly useful, though I use only the Manual and Field recording mode.
Sound quality to my ears sounds really good, not as premium as dedicated mics, but very solid.
The only cons I can think of are -
1. Yes, as many reviews say, it does feel quite plasticky (Not a deal breaker). I don't think that it will easily break as the plastic seems sturdy, but the mics...well that might be a different thing.
2. Reviews have mentioned this from the start - the high frequency interference, yes it is present...at around 19kHz and around 38kHz there are visible lines. Very disappointing. I thought that I was going to be the lucky one that will avoid this issue with my unit.
To sum it up, its a great recorder and will most probably get you some excellent recordings out of the box, but be aware that the interference may become a nuisance if the recordings need to be pitch shifted.
