A great first dive into a Kalimba

I have never had a Kalimba before and I love it very much!

The build is good and I love the sound (but I am no expert on this, since it is my first time owning such an instrument). It really is a soothing instrument to play, but it needs a little time to practice.

It comes with a hard case, which is perfect for carrying around, a tuning hammer, and 2 rubber "thingies" to put on your fingers (still need to figure out how to use those).

It has a sound hole on the front and two smaller ones in the back, so I still need to learn how to utilize those.

Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this kalimba and I'm absolutely loving it. I haven't fully mastered it just yet, but it is incredibly fun to play and the keys feel great. It has a beautiful, lovely sound that is so relaxing. It’s an absolute joy to learn how to play, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, peaceful instrument.

die kalimba ist - anders als sonst - in C-Dur gestimmt. Man kann also damit Pop-, Folk-, etc. Melodien spielen. Auch Akkordbegleitung ist kein Problem. Das Teil klingt brillant, aber nicht "billig" klirrend. Die Töne sind schön definiert und nicht muffig. Man kann mit einem mit gelieferten Hämmerchen nachstimmen. Und ein kleines Case ist auch dabei. Was will man mehr?
