Bought this for a budding musician, nice quality wooden instrument for a very fair price. Nothing to complain about here. Perfect for creches or child parent groups.

Sounds great! Not just for kids

Used for recording percussion for a reggae/dub track.

Sounded exactly like the audio examples provided by Thomann. I am aware that a professional percussionist might look down upon such a cheap instrument but its easy to get a great sound from it.

I will definitely reach for it again at a later date, needs more Guiro!!!

I like the sound

I like hitting things with sticks so this was perfect for me. It also makes a sound, so thats a bonus.
I used it on a recording that needed the sound of a stick hitting a strange looking object. The Thomann TKP Guiro Tone Block Beech make the track rock. I'll be using it again for sure.
