O Thon Rack Panel 1U 16 XLR foi uma daquelas compras que simplifica mesmo o setup. A instalação é direta e, depois de montado, dá logo uma sensação de sistema mais limpo e profissional.
Ter todas as ligações XLR organizadas num único painel facilita muito o patching e evita aquela confusão de cabos pendurados. No meu caso, tornou o fluxo de trabalho mais rápido e reduziu bastante o tempo de montagem e desmontagem.
A construção é sólida e os conectores encaixam com firmeza, transmitindo confiança mesmo em uso frequente. É um daqueles acessórios simples mas que fazem uma diferença enorme na organização do rack.
É: prático, robusto e essencial para quem quer um setup mais organizado e eficiente.

The panel itself is excellent and very well made. I bought it so I could mount some Neutrik adaptors on it. It does the job done but keep in mind that it actualy needs Neutrik Plastite A-Screw-1-8 and Neutrik MFD mounting aids and it's not exaclty clear anywhere (only on customer comments). That was basicaly on Neutrics but I believe you can mount only Neutrics and pro snake adapters on it, and I haven't try the pro snake's ones so I comment this here.

I bought this paired with 2 behringer splitters in order to have both ins and one of the outs available on the outside of the rack case, while the other out goes directly to the other side in the stage mixer connected to our IEMs. It is compact but spaced enough to be perfectly usable, saving 1 rack unit with respect to competitors. I raccomend this. Please note that screw holes are not lined, so you have to use nuts and washers.

I run a film post production studio and since most of our formats contain 8 ch I really need 16 hole panels. As a previous reviewer has already noted, this is the only one on Thomann. Sadly it completely misses the point!

As the reviewer before me mentioned (and I obviously didn’t read before buying) the metal in the panel feels like brittle plastic, the fake Ceracote plastic ”paint” is extremely brittle, the mounting holes for Neutrik D-type connectors are spaced slighty wrong and the screw holes are NOT 3 mm. I used my drillpress and drilled the 32 holes to 3.2 mm and mounted the XLRs with rivets, but that is hardly the perfect solution for everyone.

Cheap rubbish product, avoid at all costs!
