It's astonishing how many micro adjustments you can do with it. Very subtle if you get in the details.

Downside: Came in with the box opened and the attack slope switch broken. Come on, Thomann!

Die Welt der kurzen Attack/Decay Zeiten

Der Z4000 ist die ideale Ergänzung zum moog matriarch, dessen Hüllkurven-Potentiometer nur ganz kurze oder schon zu lange Zeiten zulassen. Mit dem Z4000 kann man das ganze Universum zwischen Klicks und Schmatzen erkunden, eine enorme klangliche Erweiterung des matriarchs. Die Knöpfe und Buchsen sind alle sehr ordentlich, lediglich die "Sticks" für den Attenuaverter und dem Deviater sind reicht klein. Obwohl es sehr sinnvoll ist, daß diese Funktionen gleich dabei sind.

Ich habe viele Envelopes ausprobiert und das ist der einzige mit dem ich klar komme. Der Trigger Button ist besodners nice. Davon abgesehen ist es garnicht so einfach das richtige Gate-Signal für den Envelope zu finden. Jenachdem was man dafür verwendet klingt der Envelope auch anders. Es ist also nicht einfach , trotzdem ist es der einzige Envelope der mich zufrieden stellt. bis jetzt. grüße

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem kleinen VCADSR und habe mich nach der üblichen Recherche für das Z4000 entschieden. Eine Entscheidung, die sich gelohnt hat: Es sind sowohl kurze perkussive als auch ausgedehnt lange Hüllkurven möglich.
Der zusätzlich angenehme kleine Footprint sowie die Attenuverter runden das Ganze in puncto Vielseitigkeit ab und sorgen dafür, daß damit auch unterschiedliche empfindliche VCAs gut funktionieren.
