I've had the bass for ten months and am extremely disappointed with the manufacturer's quality control & design features. Two of the battery/electronics cover screws were semi stripped & almost falling off, same with one of the truss rod cover screws. One of the screw brackets have come loose so the cover is loose and the top horn strap pin has now also fallen out. The rear concentric bass/treble control for the rear coil was slightly bent, meaning moving one moved the other. The sound flexibility is its only saving grace, thanks to Bartolini. Gibson should be ashamed of the quality control, they are charging champagne prices for a budget beer standard product. Body is very light but neck is way too heavy in comparison so lots of neck dive, making it uncomfortable when playing & basically unusable for me. Yes, I've got a wide, grippy strap & tried various counter balance tricks. As lefties are not available here in Japan, I bought it from Thomann Germany, but NO warranty service through Gibson Japan so what's the point, especially with such poor quality control.
