I own several (best on market) drum brushes, and this is something different. Everything what "commercial" sais is pretty much true. Louder tap and sweep, nice balance, good craftsmanship.

High quality but stiff

Man bezahlt die Idee der "Konstruktion" und das ist durchaus gerechtfertigt.

Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist es nicht, die den relativ hohen Anschaffungspreis rechtfertigen; denn andere Besen wie Regal Tip 583oder Vic Firth SGWB Steve Gadd sind gleich gut verarbeitet.

Man bezahlt die Idee der "Konstruktion" und das ist durchaus gerechtfertigt.

Sind die "Klassiker" Regal TipBR 583 gemein hin in ihrer Auslegung und ihrem Sound als top bekannt,
so punkten die Vic Firth SGWB Steve Gadd mit dem "gebogenen Brushende", was die in der Artikelbeschreibung aufgeführten Vorteile hat. - Ansonsten haben die SGWB sehr große Ähnlichkeit mit den RegalTip BR 583. Sie klingen lediglich e t w a s voller.

Jetzt aber zu den Vic Firth SB Split Brushes:
Das "Splitting" wirkt sich in einer größeren dynamischen Bandbreite aus, auch klingen sie heller und durchaus "etwas härter" und "höher" als die beiden vorher benannten.

Sie lassen sich selbstredend gut spielen und sind eine klangliche Bereicherung im " Stickbag".

Trotzdem würde ich nicht auf ein Paar der erst genannten verzichten wollen; mit ihnen klingt es auch mal "zarter", "weicher", etwas "tiefer und bauchiger".

Vic Firth réussi ici de nous créer un modèle qui génère plus de volume que d’autres balais plus standard …
Idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent un modèle plus puissant que ce qu’ils ont de leur arsenal ! Pour le reste la rétractation des brins pourrait être plus aisé mais vu qu’il y a deux rangs cela s’explique sûrement !
Je renouvellerai forcément cet achat dans le futur ( même si le tarif est un peu prohibitif ! )
