Nice arrangements of classic ABBA titles

Ever wanted to play the most popular songs of the swedish music group ABBA with your band? The Wise Publications ABBA Gold book is a songbook which contains these titles. They are arranged for a typical band setup with piano, vocal and guitar. The difficulty level is medium, in my opinion, but really true to the original recordings. So the songbook can also be used by beginners or school bands which want to see quick results without practicing too long. The bundle includes also two music CDs with playalongs that can be used für practicing or sing-along as a Karaoke CD. The playbacks sound great.

Tja, was soll man zu ABBA noch sagen. Es macht einfach Spass ihre Songs nachzuspielen und die Arrangements in diesem Sonbook sind sind absolut okay.

Ich habe den Eindruck, dass nicht alle Songs umbedingt 100% originalgetreu sind. Aber das stört nicht so sehr.
Sehr nützlich sind definitiv die beiden mitgelieferten CDs. Sowohl die Stücke der CD ohne Gesang, als auch die mit Gesang bringen den Zuhörer nicht nur in Groove Stimmung, sondern laden auch gleich dazu ein, die Gitarre oder das Klavier zu schnappen und sich durch die Notation zu üben. Und für die Rhythm Section taugen die CDs auch ein wenig.

Fazit: Dieses Songbuch macht Spass beim Nachsingen und Nachspielen. Und wenn das üben und Spielen ermüdet hat, einfach CDs einwerfen und geniessen.

EIne schöne Zusammenstellung von ABBA-Songs, gut auch die Demo-CD und die Playback-CD. Allerdings darf man sich davon nciht täuschen lassen, die Songs bleiben schwer nachzuspielen, egal wie gut sie aufbereitet sind! Versuche mich trotzdem gerne daran und kann e snur weiterempfehlen
