Yamaha YTS-280 Tenor Sax

This is a great instrument. I needed a tenor that wouldn?t let me down without paying a fortune. You can?t go wrong with a Yamaha be it sax, bike, drums... Mine played great from top to bottom straight out of the box as did another I tested that led me to order this. I am playing for a living so I needed something that would play well without the big price tag. This horn does that. Plays in tune, lovely tone. Not too heavy. The key layout is a lot better than my old tenors. Below low C you can play faster parts easily whatever way they have set up those keys. The whole package is high quality. Beautiful finish. Nice modern case with loads of room inside for your mic and cable, multiple mouthpieces etc. The outer pocket has room for my laptop and cables and a bluetooth speaker so no messing around with two bags heading to the practice rooms, The backpack straps are comfy and balanced so you?re not twisting your back from having all the weight on one shoulder like a Gator case I had.

You can?t go wrong with this horn. For a student or for gigging with. There seems to be nothing lacking.
