I bought a 3-pieces set of this product almost two years ago and since then I used it to carry my drumset around Europe (circa 100 gigs). It is confortable to carry and easier to load and unload from the van than a classic hard case. I never had any troubles with its construction, which is excellent; materials are really good and the shell is well protected due to the internal soft padding. When you take out or put in your drum from the case, it mantains its shape and does not fold on itself due to its rigidity, making it really easy to take out or load in any kind of shell. I highly reccomend this product to anyone who travels a lot by car to play and does not want a big, bulky, difficult to carry hard case.

I've used both ahead and protection racket cases and for me the ahead ones feel far more durable. They have slightly more padding giving a bit more protection. This case has a really handy zip that goes all the way down to the base of the case which makes it dead easy to get the drum inside.
