Being a new drum player, I bought this kit to practice confortably while not bothering anyone. Expectations where not the same as acoustic drums, so, even with the not-so-good aspects of this mesh kit, it's managable.
Pros:
The kit is solid. The carbon base aspect is sturdy, handles well with vigorous practice. It's easy to finish bulding the kit - It's kind like Ikea, without the frustration and doubting your sanity. Being a complete newbie, it took me 35 minutos to finish the kit.
The built-in coach, the different kits, the outputs, the mesh heads - it's all very good quality, at least, for this price.
Cons:
The seat leaves somewhat to be desired. It's bouncy, makes an inflating noise when you get up, and eventually, after some use, the rod starts to jiggle a little bit.
The high-hat pedal and the kick are... not very good. Get ready to buy a carpet for it to stick, and even the, the delay from the movement to the registering of the sound in the drum module is veeeery weird. You need some getting used to.
Also, i've heard some people get stuck in the drum coach module, so, be careful
Conclusion:
It good for price. Like all things, you eventually move on to a better, bigger system (depending on your goals and objectives), or even acoustic drums. But, for a beginner to intermediate level, you can get very good practice with this kit.
