Boss RV-6

On the Boss RV-6 price range there are good contenders, but this one takes the prize as the best value while looking for a versatile and ambient-friendly reverb.

RV-6 has 8 (!) reverb settings, from the beautiful and lushy modulation reverb (Boss still delivers the most natural and incredible decay on mod reverb) to the new shimmer setting which has ambient written all over it. You might want to turn the tone knob to the left for an amazing cavernous shimmer party. And the hall setting is a plus here too.

Besides these two great features, this pedal can get you to decent spring, plate and room reverb. There's also a very cool feature of dynamic reverb if you aren't running an expression pedal (which is also an amazing thing to have here to control the amount of reverb in each setting, good to emphasize your decays) and a reverb + delay if you need an extra delay push to your sound.

Boss RV-6 runs stereo, can get 100% wet if you use only the input B, it's built like a tank and it's so tweakable you should take a full-day to experience it all.
