Cosmotronic Delta-V

The vca per se does not comes, as for veil or other vca, with one of the most accurate volume control ever. Is not a mixer though. Opposite to other vca though the cvs make so much interesting shaping the sound, considering as well that other than being also an lfo It have knobs to set more precisely the typology of evolution of the sound, from exponential to logarithmic. Patching itself would make It a perfect exemple of the complete also voice It can be, especially of setted properly with a pinch of deelay and distorsion. Also if the effect would be guitar pedal they would be able to make a complete ethnic melody with kick and hat. Now i am Just and only thinking out loud. Though considering the module itself It can become also an arpeggiator (about this point i am not sure). For sure with phase control the possibility of controlling the volume though still remain and they are super fitting, so the two channels don't cancel out each other nor attenuating completely their incoming signal. If you exoect a mixer avoid this and go on a Veil or so. If you look for a vca though this Is perfect as for rhythms and melodies, as well as lfo and attenuverter, plus Indeed Is wisely setted also as a stand alone double vco

1) super gebaut, solide und minimalistisch von der Ästhetik.
2) auf 10 hp wirds trotz der vielen Funktionen nicht mega eng, da gibt's weit schlimmere Module.
3) EOC (end of cycle, praktisch für ambient patches, self running systems usw - zb das bekannte "krell patch") gibt es recht selten ausser bei klassischen funtion generators a la Maths
4) die Kurvenverläufe sind allesamt einstellbar (wie bei Maths) und cv bar, loopbar und all das, was die meisten erhältlichen Hüllkurven nicht können. Ich bekomm so am Ende des Tages weit musikalischere, dynamischere und aufregendere Ergebnisse hin als mit der herkömmlichen ADSR.
5) auch mit dabei: 2x VCA & 2x Slew. Slew hat auch der Maths, plus die 2 Polarizer Channels, aber sowas hat jeder oder sollte eh jeder im System drin haben, einen VCA hat Maths allerdings nicht. Und das ist schon der Hammer, weil man so einen perfekten Envelope PLUS Vca für eine Monostimme hat - einen für die Amplitude und den zweiten schon praktischerweise vornormalisiert für den Vcf, besser gehts nicht, und das auf 10HP. Aber auch CV in den VCA funktioniert spitze!

Fazit: ich würde mir auf 20HP lieber 2 solche Teile besorgen anstatt des Maths, im Prinzip ist vieles hier auch möglich und einiges mehr, natürlich gehen beim Maths auch Sachenm, die hier nicht gehen - kommt wsnl einfach drauf an, was man exakt sucht - eine horsepower envelope oder einen function generator. Bei mir definitiv ersteres!
