Mein absolutes Traumset

Ich habe mir das Set vor exakt 3 Jahren "gegönnt". Nun muss ich sagen: das wahr die beste Entscheidung die ich machen konnte! Ich bin durchweg zufrieden!

Qualität:
So wie man es von DW kennt ist die Qualität und die Verarbeitung 1A. Absolut keine Mängel.
Auch im Punkto Stabilität ist das Set in einigen Punkten einem Durschnittsset (1500€) weit überlegen. Es tut einfach alles so, wie man sich das erhofft.
Die Rims sind auch klasse. Sehr massiv und stabil.

Kesselgrößen:
Die Kesselgrößen sind etwas speziell - ja. Das hat mir am Anfang auch Zweifel bereitet. Nun will ich nie wieder andere Größen spielen. Ich habe die 8" und die 10" als Hängetoms montiert. Die 12" an der Stelle, wo normalerweise die erste Standtom steht. Klanglich fällt der Sprung von der 12" zur 16" überhaupt nicht auf. Zum Spielen ist das wahnsinnig bequem, so sind die Hängetoms nicht zu groß sondern handlich und im Aufbau nicht zu hoch über der bass Drum. Somit ist der Abstand zwischen Snare und T1 sehr gering. Das gefällt mir sehr gut.

Sound:
Dazu muss man wohl nicht viel sagen, DW halt. Überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Sehr schöne tonale Folge und einfach zu stimmen durch die feinen Schrauben.

Optik:
Kommt sehr schön raus in diesem Naturton. Über die Zeit hat sich das Holz etwas verdunkelt, das tut dem Design aber gut.

Kritik:
In eher tiefer Stimmung lösen sich die Stimmschrauben der 8" Tom nach kurzer Zeit und müssen immer wieder nachgezogen werden.
Tom Halter könnten bei dem Preis auch dabei sein...
Standard Felle holen nicht das Maximum aus diesem wunderschönen Kit heraus.

Fazit:
Sehr zufriedenen, würde ich wieder nehmen. Preislich für ein Collectors mit 4 Toms sehr fair!
